Frequently Asked
Questions
Why does GMAS center admit
children only in the age group of 5 to 14 years?
It is scientifically proved that the growth of nerves and
tissues is rapid only in this age group. It is also observed
that that 75-85% of brain develops in this age group. GMAS
program, which is designed accordingly for whole brain
development of the child, works extremely well in this age
group.
A
child less than 5 years cannot be admitted because the
program requires a student to identify 1 to 9 objects as
well as the tables up to 9. Similarly a 15 years child
cannot be admitted because child will not be able to make
the image of Abacus to do mental calculations.
Does the GMAS program affect
the school curriculum?
No, the GMAS program has been designed in such a manner that
it does not affect the school curriculum. Classes are once
in a week for two hours on weekends. GMAS program even helps
a child to verify the answers using mental arithmetic at
school.
Is there any crash course /
summer course?
No, GMAS program is based on consistent and steady practice
about 10 to 15 minutes daily for 2years. So it cannot be
done in summers or as a crash course in shorter span.
How does GMAS Program ensure
academic proficiency?
The result of the GMAS is not confined to arithmetic only.
The concept of thinking picture or image of abacus leads to
better understanding, speed, accuracy, and enhance memory,
which is basic for all academic studies. Thus the results of
this program can be witnessed in all subjects.
How does the GMAS Program
help a child to face competition?
The basis of any competition is only speed & accuracy. Our
program helps the student to achieve consistent accuracy and
once this is achieved through constant practice the speed is
improved. The accuracy and speed reflects on the memory of a
child, which ensures that the child is accurate and fast in
whatever he or she does. |
